Jackson, WY

We escaped to Jackson WY and it was just what we all needed.  It felt SO good to be mask free and enjoying the things we all used to enjoy....restaurants, public places, etc.

We stayed just outside of Teton National Park and the area is breathtaking.  We loved where we stayed and had quick access to trails right outside.

This is the barn on Mormon Row in Teton National Park.  I've seen this in so many photos and have always wanted to see it myself, and photograph it myself.  It was stunning.  We loved walking all around this area.

Teton Village

We went on a beautiful trail ride with just us!  V didn't join us but Mia, Luca and I (and our guide) rode into the hills on single track trails and it felt magical.

This is Luca and Razzle Dazzle.

Mia and Yellow Rose

I joke this is me making big plans to build my own ranch.

We hiked up to the gondola on "Wildflower" trail.  Such a beautiful hike.

Mia had some beautiful runs and I would tail along behind....walking at times and jogging at times too.  I felt profoundly grateful to be in Jackson taking it all in.

May

Just some cadid shots from the month of May.  We had a few puppy sleep overs, the kids finished school, and we made plans for the summer.

Maui, Bohi, and Boston

8th grade is a wrap!  The kids had a fun day running around outside all day, signing year books, and putting middle school to rest.  Mia said it was such a great day.  She's made some great friends, learned a lot of new things, and is ready for high school!

Last day of 6th and 8th grade.  I realized when I took this photo that I never took a first day of school photo!  I then quickly remembered it was because the first day of school was strange, and online.  I'll try again next year!

Boston and her new cousin, Sunny.  Sunny is Ottilia's new dog.

Happy 12th Birthday Luca!

We celebrated Luca's 11th birthday quarantine style so we (and he) knew that this year would be a big year to get out and do something fun!  We rang in his 12th birthday with a trip to Top Golf and then a night at the Gaylord Hotel.  We had a ball and loved celebrating our Luca.

This picture makes me laugh.  We were walking around the hotel after dinner and when we came across long hallways, racing began.

Dear Luca,
As you embark on your 12th year know that we stand with you always.  Your joys are ours.  Your sorrows or pains, ours also.  You are a tender tough kid and watching you learn to harness both qualities is an honor.  You are inquisitive and thoughtful, deep, and loyal.  You love chocolate ice cream and your dog.  You love movie/show nights and being active.  We are so lucky to call you ours sweet boy.  xoxo

Easter

We had our first normalish holiday on Easter.  The adults had their vaccinations and we decided to have a small get together.  The kids were excited to see Nana and for it to feel festive.
