Easter is a favorite holiday of mine. I love the idea of rebirth, renewal, and new beginnings. I love spring and the smells and colors during this time of year. No holiday is "easy" for a mom but this one feels a bit easier in ways. My mom hosted a beautiful Easter meal and those of us in Denver (minus Neil, Pam, and the girls) gathered like we do most years. I take such comfort in our holiday traditions, and so do my kids.

| No one can rival the way my mom sets a table. It's always like a mini work of art: so thoughtful and creative. I just had to get a picture of the beautiful colors. |

| Lyla and Hadley set up an egg hunt for these four. We weren't going to do one, because the kids are older now, but we realized that they are still KIDS, even if they aren't little. We filled the eggs with cash and they had a ball! |

| My mom got this photo from behind and I love it. We were having our picture taken by Hadley, whom you can't see, but this angle is fun. It reminds me that parenthood is teamwork . It take lots of energy and work to get to the happy moments of watching your kids run around happily but the rewards are so incredible. |
